These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases made through BERIL OKTEM (“the House”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. THE HOUSE

BERIL OKTEM is an independent fashion house based in London, United Kingdom.

2. THE GARMENTS

BERIL OKTEM creates limited-edition garments and accessories designed in London and produced through a combination of in-house craftsmanship and carefully selected manufacturing partners.

Due to the nature of hand-finishing, printing processes, and artisanal production methods, minor variations between pieces may occur. Such variations are characteristic of the House’s craftsmanship and shall not be regarded as defects.

Product imagery is provided for illustrative purposes. While every effort is made to accurately display colours and details, slight variations may occur depending on screen settings and production processes.

3. PRODUCTION

Products may be available either as ready-to-wear stock or on a made-to-order basis.

Where a product is offered on a made-to-order basis, this will be clearly stated on the relevant product page.

Production and dispatch estimates are provided as guidance only. Due to the nature of garment production and hand-finishing, timelines may occasionally vary.

The House shall not be liable for delays arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to courier delays, customs processing, material shortages, or events of force majeure.

4. ORDERS AND PAYMENT

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

An order is accepted only when the House issues an order confirmation by email.

Prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, local fees, or similar charges imposed by the destination country.

The House reserves the right to refuse, decline, or cancel an order prior to dispatch where a pricing error, technical error, product availability issue, or suspected fraudulent activity has occurred. In such circumstances, any payment received will be refunded in full.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All intellectual property rights relating to BERIL OKTEM products, designs, patterns, artwork, photographs, graphics, branding, logos, text, and website content remain the exclusive property of the House.

No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, published, or otherwise used without prior written consent.

6. LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Subject to the foregoing, the House’s total liability arising from or relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that order.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory rights afforded to consumers under the laws of their country of residence.
